About me

As an attorney, I have unique experience in litigation and arbitration. I represent high-profile clients from business, the public sector and individuals who are concerned about a good outcome to their legal dispute.

I have a long-standing cooperation with HAVEL&PARTNERS, where as a counsel I am responsible for factually and legally complex litigation.

I have helped clients win more than 700 disputes worth billions of CZK. My portfolio includes litigation and arbitration in the areas of real estate and construction, corporate law, financial services, investment, IT and technology, insurance, healthcare, labour law, sports law, consumer protection, competition law, intellectual property, contractual law, film and media, energy, contractor relations, intermediation, administrative law, education, family law, inheritance law, professional liability, public liability, and many others.

Beyond my day-to-day practice, I have a particular expertise in the areas of tort law and insurance. I regularly lecture at the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno and at the Judicial Academy in Kroměříž.

I’m an arbitrator at the Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic. I am a member of the Education Committee of the Czech Bar Association. I was a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Futsal Association of the Czech Republic.

When I’m not working, I do sports or spend time outdoors with family and friends, ideally hiking in the mountains or sailing on sea.

Services

I provide legal services primarily to clients dealing with potential or ongoing litigation.

Not only do I provide clients with complete representation before the courts and other authorities, but I also support them in negotiating settlement agreements or other activities, including selecting an appropriate litigation strategy, preparing documents for management, providing expert reports, etc.

I also use my experience in litigation to advise clients on the preparation of appropriate contractual documentation or implementing necessary internal procedures.

As mentioned above, I have considerable experience particularly in civil litigation, but also in many other areas. I do not provide services in the areas of violent crime or tax law.

I work closely with leading experts in other fields, including expert witnesses, tax advisers and detectives.
